This painting was inspired by the ongoing civil conflict between the ultra Orthodox community and those who have served in the IDF. Hopefully there will be a day where the ultra Orthodox will walk beside the soldiers, but for now this piece works to highlight the tensions and emotions behind both of these sides, who regardless of their stance on the IDF, still live within the same confines of our society
