This was one of the first pieces I painted after October 7th. I wanted to hold the Magen David with pride when everything else felt shaken. The blue reflects the color of the Jewish people and mysticism, and the flowers symbolize hope and regrowth. They’re also a nod to the kibbutzim in the south, known for their beautiful flower fields
